TRAINING: We always warm up, stretch get loose, and then after we spar, hit pads, and work wrestling. Timing and positioning are important.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve been training since I was little; I started training young, as all of my family was in Judo and I loved Karate!
What ranks and titles have you held? Amateur Canadian Welterweight Champion, Amateur Western Canadian Light Heavyweight Champion, 2X Professional T.K.O. Welterweight Champion, Professional R.I.T.C. Welterweight Champion, Professional R.I.T.C. Middleweight Champion
Do you have any heroes? Terry Fox and my Dad
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It has been my life's dream and life's work to fight on the world stage and be able to express my Art in its purest form. Where better to do that than in the UFC?
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No.
What was your job before you started fighting? Training for fighting. :)
