John HalversonDESCRIBE A TYPICAL DAY OF TRAINING: This has been, by far, the best training camp that I have ever had. In the mornings, my strength and conditioning coach, Bill Breed, has me doing a warm-up run for 2.5 miles (7-12mph) followed by circuit training (45 min) that consists of combining cardio and strength. The circuit is different each day so this has really pushed me into the best shape I have ever been in. In the afternoon/evening I am either working my boxing/kick boxing or wrestling/jiu jitsu. I spar at least three times a week 6-8, 5 minute rounds. At night I do more conditioning, and on the weekends I run hills or stairs with a weighted vest.
