Biographie
TRAINING: Usually crossfit training /conditioning or power lifting in the AM and MMA sparring, boxing, jits or working technique midday and late afternoon. But I’m always switching stuff up to keep it interesting
When and why did you start training for fighting? Age 13. I was an aggressive kid and had some fights in school and my dad wanted me to have an outlet. My younger brother Joel was playing paintball and I went with him. Every time I got shot I would want to go after the guy and punch him, so after a while I wasn't allowed in the place anymore. I used to have to just sit in the car. South Shore Sportfighting was right next door and my dad said "why don't you go in there". That's when I started training.
What ranks and titles have you held? Several first place trophies in teenage grappling divisions. A couple of them were NAGA tournaments. Currently the Full Force Productions Featherweight champion. Won first 4 MMA fights in under one minute. Was youngest fighter in New Hampshire history at age 17. Was youngest fighter in Massachusetts history on 18th birthday.
Do you have any heroes? Jesus Christ
What is your favorite technique? Flying triangle.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means the world to me. When we all start out locally, we’re trying to get to the UFC, and now we’re here, so it’s time to show the world what we can do. So I’m super excited.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? Roofing with my dad in Boston.
