TRAINING: A training day consists of two sessions, alternating BJJ, Muay Thai and conditioning.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training BJJ when I was 16 years old. I always loved martial arts since I was a kid.

What ranks and titles have you held? Third degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt

Do you have any heroes? Demian Maia

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A chance to test myself in the biggest MMA show in the world.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? International Relations

What was your job before you started fighting? BJJ Instructor

South American, European, Pan-American Champion as BJJ black belt
