Biographie

TRAINING: Wake up with my family, drop my daughter off at school then go to practice. Train with the team from 10-1. Go eat a light lunch and do strength and conditioning with Chad Macias. Then I go pick up my daughter and rest for a little. Then hit pads with Chiheb and Eric. Then I go home and eat dinner. We spar twice a week in the morning so I do that.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started in 2006 while wrestling for Pima Community College.

What ranks and titles have you held? Coalition of Combat Champion, Rage in the Cage Champion, Explode Champion, King of Champions Champion.

Do you have any heroes? My Dad and Brother and Dominick Cruz

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It means the world to me. I can give hope to the kids in my anti-bullying campaign, “The Gremlins Kids,” and show them that if you work hard, anything can happen. I can provide for my baby girl and give her the best life possible.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Pima Community College.

What was your job before you started fighting? Coaching the kids at Alliance MMA.
