When and why did you start training for fighting?  2002, because fighting is cool

What ranks and titles have you held? Purple belt in BJJ, black belt in kung fu, Tachi Palace Fights flyweight champion, #1 paperweight in the world

Do you have any heroes? My dad and Bruce Lee

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, but I dropped out (of Cuesta College) after I blew my knee out wrestling.

What was your job before you started fighting? Partying

Favorite grappling technique: Rear naked choke

Favorite Striking technique: Face punch

•    Was 1-2 in the WEC. Went the distance with future bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz in 2009

•    Made flyweight debut in 2011, and has since gone 3-0-1, with a win over highly regarded Jussier da Silva.
