TRAINING: Training is always hard! This fight I'm doing the camp in altitude, with more one on one training for this fight. I’ve also been training lots of Capoeira, wrestling, swimming... Dec 30th I'll be ready. It’s another easy cut, so I hope to keep a high paced fight. My opponent is legit and he comes forward, so it should match my style well.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training Capoeira in 1995, and then began Jiu-Jitsu classes in 1999. I train because I love to fight.

What ranks and titles have you held? Professor in Capoeira, BJJ Brown Belt. I don’t hold any titles, however I’m looking to get one!

Do you have any heroes? GOD, and my brothers.

What is your favorite technique? Kicks

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A dream of mine is coming true!

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No, but I’ve learned education is very important though.

What was your job before you started fighting? Construction.
