TRAINING: MMA / conditioning on Monday, Standup on Tuesday, Conditioning / Technique on Wednesday, Game plans / Technique on Thursday, MMA / Technique on Friday, and Running / Cardio on Saturday.

Thoughts on opponent, Norman Parke? He has very good takedown technique and is a well rounded MMA fighter.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started MMA training when I was 20 years old

What ranks and titles have you held? Pancrase World Ranking No.2 in 155lb weight class.

Do you have any heroes? Takanori Gomi is my hero in MMA

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A dream come true. It was my dream to fight in the UFC. However, it is just the starting point of my MMA career and I would like to make sure I win my UFC debut in Japan!

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No. Instead I went to a vocational school after I graduated high school.

What was your job before you started fighting? Cleaner
