Biographie

A former All-American wrestler from Oregon State University, Nathan Coy is a powerful grappler with a wealth of experience under his belt as he enters the upcoming season of the reality show.  Coy was a former member of the famed Team Quest gym where he worked with several UFC legends including Randy Couture and former Olympic silver medalist Matt Lindland.  Coy has fought a number of top opponents over the years including current top five ranked welterweight Tyron Woodley, who he took to split decision, as well as holding a win over Ultimate Fighter finalist Dhiego Lima.
 
TRAINING: My typical training day includes never giving up, going past my limits, winning every second of every round, and helping my training partners reach their goals.
 
When and why did you start training for fighting? Eight years ago – transitioned from being competitive in wrestling to the world of MMA
 
What ranks and titles have you held? MFC Welterweight Title and SportFight Title

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s where the best competition is. I’m looking forward to the challenge.
