Tickets For UFC Berlin On Sale This Week

A unique opportunity to watch a title fight on European soil, when the UFC® returns to Berlin on Saturday 20 June

UFC® has confirmed new pricing brackets for tickets to UFC® FIGHT NIGHT: JEDRZEJCZYK vs. PENNE, ahead of tickets going on sale to the general public this Friday May 8. With prices starting at €40 fans are encouraged to get their tickets early to avoid missing out on seeing the first UFC world title fight to ever take place in Germany.
The event, which will take place at the o2 World in Berlin on Saturday 20 June, will see women’s strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk (9-0-0), from Olsztyn, Poland, take to the Octagon to defend her belt against no.3 ranked Jessica Penne (12-3-0) from Newport Beach, California, USA. This historic match up will be the first ever female title fight to place in Europe.
Following her impressive title win over Carla Esparza in March this year, Jedrzejczyk returned to Poland a national hero and began to train for her next fight almost immediately, eager to defend the belt against the next contender.
Former Invicta atomweight champion Penne featured on the 2014 series of The Ultimate Fighter: A Champion Will be Crowned as a member of team Pettis, recording a win over Randa Markos at the finale on December 12.
Penne, once the best in the world at 105lbs, will look to derail the meteoric run of Jedrzejczyk and claim the strawweight belt with her world class ground attack.
Tickets to UFC® FIGHT NIGHT: JEDRZEJCZYK vs. PENNE go on general sale Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. CEST and are priced at €150, €125, €95, €70, €50, €40 inclusive of VAT and fees. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.o2world-berlin.de/events/detail/ufc-fight-night-berlin-1
Three German fighters also feature on the main card and will be looking to put on a crowd pleasing performance in Berlin. Dennis Siver will face off against Japan’s Tatsuya 'The Crusher' Kawajiri, and Sergio ‘The Panther’ Moraes will meet Peter Sobotta in a welterweight bout, whilst Nick “Sergeant” Hein will take on Polish debutant Lukasz Sajewski.
