Two Added to Brisbane Event

Fresh from an impressive victory over fellow flyweight prospect Ray Borg last weekend, Justin Scoggins will return to Brisbane, Australia for the first time since 2013 to take on exciting finisher Ben Nguyen in a UFC Fight Night bout on March 19.

Also added to the event at Brisbane Entertainment Centre is a women's bantamweight bout pitting Japan's Rin Nakai against the United States' Leslie Smith.

In the five-round main event, which airs on FOX Sports 1, former two-time heavyweight champion Frank Mir faces Aussie favorite Mark Hunt.

Winner of two straight, Scoggins impressed fight fans with his decisive decision win over Borg, and in March he goes back to the city where he earned his first UFC victory over Richie Vaculik more than two years ago. In Nguyen, he will face a local hero who emerged on the international scene in 2015 with first-round finishes of Alptekin Ozkilic and Ryan Benoit.

A native of Ehime, Nakai has won 16 of her 18 pro bouts, with the only loss coming in her UFC debut against Miesha Tate in September of 2014. Now back in the Octagon, Nakai will meet up with California's Smith, an always exciting competitor looking to pick up her second UFC victory in her Australian debut.
