Heavyweight contenders will meet in Las Vegas on Oct. 7, as former world champion Fabricio Werdum takes on Derrick Lewis in a UFC 216 bout at T-Mobile Arena.
UFC 216 airs live on Pay-Per-View. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Aug. 31.
The No. 2-ranked contender in the heavyweight division, Brazil's Werdum has won seven of his last nine bouts, with wins over Cain Velasquez, Travis Browne and Mark Hunt included in that stretch. But this fall, he will face one of the division's most punishing strikers in the No. 7-ranked Lewis, who has earned 14 of his last 15 victories by knockout.
