The Ultimate Fighter Finale Bonus Recap

Read on to find out who took home bonuses at The Ultimate Fighter Finale.

Six fighters joined the UFC president Dana White at the Ultimate Fighter Finale post-fight press conference: Headliners Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn, Ultimate Fighter winners Corey Anderson and Eddie Gordon, Dustin Ortiz, and Leandro Issa

Batamweights Leandro Issa and Jumabieke Tuerxun were awarded Fight of the Night for their back-and-forth affair. Tuerxun held control in the first round, but Issa rallied in the second, and dominated the third en route to the decision.

Issa was also awarded one of the Performance of the Night bonuses. The other bonus was given to Adriano Martins for his dismantling of Juan Manuel Puig Carreon. Martins tagged Carreon early and often, and stunned the Mexican fighter before absorbing a low blow. But immediately after resuming action, Martins unleashed a big right hand that sent Carreon to the canvass.

White also announced bonuses for this season of The Ultimate Fighter. Fight of the Season went to light heavyweights Daniel Spohn and Matt Van Buren for their semifinal brawl. Dhiego Lima will have a little help getting over his finale loss, as he was awarded both Performance of the Season award.

Winners from the event were awarded $50,000, while season winners were awarded $25,000.
