Revel Presents UFC on FX on June 22

REVEL BEACH, Atlantic City, N.J. (April 16, 2012) – Revel hosts the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) with a night of fights on Friday, June 22 in Ovation Hall.  UFC is the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization.

In the night’s five-round main event telecast live on FX at 9 p.m. ET, lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and Clay Guida collide in a bout that many believe could be an instant contender for Fight of the Year.  The card also features New Jersey natives and UFC stars Dan Miller (Whippany, N.J.), Nick Catone (Englewood, N.J.), and Rich Attonito (Elizabeth, N.J.). Additional fights for June 22 will be announced on UFC’s website, www.ufc.com, in the coming weeks.

“The fans have been asking for us to come back to Atlantic City for a long time, and on June 22, we’re going to deliver an incredible night of fights,” UFC President Dana White said. “Atlantic City was where we held our first event as owners of the UFC in 2001 and I can’t wait to get back. This fight between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida could be one of the best of the year. Both of these guys fight at an incredible pace and I expect a five-round war.”

The event will take place in Revel’s Ovation Hall, designed by Scéno Plus, which creates an elevated experience for more than 5,000 fans.  The transformative space, technical capability and sightlines combine to ensure that each guest has the ideal UFC experience.
