Info

When and why did you start training for fighting? I just wanted to get into shape. I wanted to be a forest firefighter but I was too young, so I thought I'd get into shape. A guy I was dating at the time was a fighter and he told me to check out a jiu-jitsu class, and here I am.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a dream come true. It's pretty unreal being one of the first females ever to compete on TUF, as well as in the UFC!  I've made a lot of crazy choices that I think most people wouldn't have made, picking this sport over other things, and now I know it was worth it. For a long time I thought I was just nuts.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? After I had been training for three years I applied for University and signed up for a couple classes, and then I got the offer to train with Rosi Sexton and I moved to England instead to pursue my dream of being a professional fighter.

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a server.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 3-0 as an amateur
